I love the cool, crisp weather as the summer changes into fall.  And apples are in abundance as they ripen and are ready to be picked off the trees.  The only responsible thing to do is to make something warm and yummy with the apples.

My solution: Easy Apple Crisp.  I love the texture of crumble toppings on anything.  And, that’s exactly what apple crisp is.  A whole lot of crisp crumble over baked apples.  Ummmm.

The perfect Apple Crisp has to have crisp, flavorful topping and soft apples.  I don’t like baked apples that are a bit too crunchy.  Or filling that is too runny.

One of the perks of baking cinnamon and apples is the aroma.  Talk about making the house smell A-Mazing!!  Your family will think you spent hours making such deliciousness.  No one has to know how easy this is.  Just bask in the glory.
